Halifax Floor Hockey LeagueLynx vs Hackers
Hackers had 4 guys. Lynx had a full squad.
Things got heated and heads were lost. Hackers dominated. Lynx will regroup and get back at it next week.
Hackers win 10-3
Zwicker played awesome...as did Burgoyne (after the 1st)
Notables - Strum 5 goals, Brill 3 goals and 3 assists
Fire vs Bulldogs
Low scoring game thanks to the goalies. Both guys played great. Strum stacks the pads a few times while Wynn makes some great glove saves. Dogs come out hot but Fire apply their own heat.
Shiners in this one were Chris Woodford with 2 gaols and Myles Raymond with a goal and an assist.
Fire take this one 6-4
Chill vs Sabres
Tough match up for both teams. Chill dominate early on scoring first three goals. Sabres kept clawing back but then made some costly mistakes. Game is tied with 1 minute to go and Power takes high stick penalty. Gerard scores on the power play, proves to be the winner.
They add an empty netter. Sabres bench was "passionate" tonight as one person put it.
Chill win this one 7-5
Wayne Hardy scores 3 goals and adds 2 assist, his best game so far. Kyle Bradbury grabs a hatty and a helper. Canning scores 2 and passes 2.
Titans vs Slayers
Break out game for the Slayers. Starting the second half on a tear. Score the first three but titans battle back with three. Slayers add one and take a one goal lead into the second.
Slayers score the next 8 goals. Titans grab two more but Slayers answer back with the same.
Notables are Aaron Brown with a hat trick and 2 assists, Kyle Bayers with 2 goals and 4 assist and JD gets this weeks HFHL Player of the Week honours with 5 goals and 3 assists. Great job JD
