Sources: Watson to Succeed Griffiths as Commission

Customstats.com has learned that Mike Griffiths will step down as FHL commissioner after eight successful seasons in charge of the league. Griffiths will hand over the reins to Lite-Sabres forward David Watson, who spent last season as Griffiths' understudy.

Watson will have his hands full with his new role. Ever increasing disputes over rules, absentee game officials, and free agency will be some of the hot topics that Watson may have to deal with.

Watson was the 16th leading scorer in the 2002B season and is the league's 12th all-time leading assist getter.
