Lo and Behold! Look What's Happened

Fellow sports fans, are we witnessing a shift in power in the league? Would anyone have believed it possible that after last year's stellar performance of going undefeated throughout the regular season, that the Lynx would be fighting it out with the Chill for the right to select the first round draft pick in the 2005A draft? The second major shock this season is the Fire's valiant climb into 4th place, just 2 points back of 1st place, currently held by the Sabres.

When this reporter asked the two captains what they thought might be the reason for the other teams' change in fortune, I got these responses:

Mr. Snelgrove – there are rumours that Mr. Wanamaker has had to reduce the teams travel budget, so now when they play road games they have to stay in a Best Western.

Mr. Wanamaker – their goalie has fit a hot streak, but it won't last. Harv is peaking too early.

There you have it, until next time, good day.
