Big thanks to league journeyman, Mike Montgomery for his submissions on the individual teams to this point in the season. Please click on your team's page to view updates with a 6 week recap.
This has inspired league commish to post this following week 6 recap as well:
Monday, March, 13th: LAN Hackers (7) @ Lite Sabres (10)
This game saw both goalies facing 56 shots apiece in a tough battle. The Hackers fell short on a two game win streak, while the Lite-Sabres have put together a neat little mid-season two game win streak of their own after suffering three straight losses. The goaltenders put in huge efforts in this tilt as they both posted some of their best numbers on their save percentages this season.
Tuesday, March, 14th: Keane Fire (4) @ Keane Chill (17)
This game was over nearly as soon as it started. Rob Tyrell poured in a huge twelve points, while linemate and league rookie, Peter Eddy, poured in nine points of his own. Though Fire captain, Harvey Snelgrove, had less than stellar goaltending numbers on the night, it must be noted that most goals were the result of 3 on 0's, 3 on 1's, etc. In the end, the big Harv was still smiling, though through some grimmaces.
Tuesday, March, 14th: ADC Lynx (5) @ Sunnydale Slayers (3)
What a game. This was a full out goaltending clinic. With both goalies putting in massive games, this was a tremendous game. Martin Kane posted a massive .95 save percentage, while Adam Pettigrew's submitted a big .901 save percentage of his own. It was no fluke as they faced 60 and 57 shots respectively. The big surprise in this game was Wanamaker's 3rd period marker which put the Lynx up 4-3 and proved to be the eventual winner.
