Halifax Floor Hockey League
The new season has been announced and there are many changes this year. League commish Richard Wannamaker has expanded the league by two teams and created divisional play. The newly formed Bloomfield and Needham divisions will feature 4 teams each.
In a further twist that has everyone excited, the new teams (and new goalies) won't lose home ice advantage. The league has found a new home at the Stadacona Military Base Gymnasium, where for the first time in league history, two games will be played at the same time. Now all games will be played for the week between the hours of 9 and 11. I guess there will be lots of referees and statskeepers available now!
