Thursday is Draft night at the Lion's head!

So here we are again folks. getting down to the wire. Burnin' the midnight oil. Eating that last piece of pie, and any other cliché you can think of. The night before the draft and not a creature is stirring not even a Morse. Actually he must be studying the stats and the mug shots right now.

This is Billy Concarney here saying hello and welcome to another edition of live the night before the draft night!

We'll maybe give a bit of insight into what is going on right now in the minds of the captains as they prepare to take that long walk to the podium to announce who they will have playing on their team this 2011 "A" Season.

On Monday night gone by, the number selection process, you know, that really scientific one where you reach into the hat and all? well that took place and the one captain who was too scared to show got the kiss of death...few captains put together a winning team with the first pick, but Tyler Morse will hope to follow in the steps of Chill Captain Adam Cowie and put together a rag tag team of misfits capable of winning it all.

The order of selection will be as follows:

1) Tyler Morse - Sabres

2) Matt Monk - Lynx

3) Jeff Shute - Titans

4) Mark Thompson - Bull Dogs

5) Craig Biedler - Hackers

6) Adam Cowie - Chill

7) Rob Tyrrell - Fire

8) barry Coolen - Slayers

The way it works is that the draft starts at the 1st pick and then cycles through to 8th, then the 8th team picks again and they work their way back to the number 1 spot. Sometimes the goalies go first, sometimes the scorers go first, but rest assured, some one will go first. Who that will be only Tyler Morse knows for sure.

we are trying to establish a feed and if possible, we will update the site in real time so that you all can see who is going where.

Stay tuned...

Well that's all for now folks. This is Billy Concarney saying so long and remember, silence is golden...but Duck Tape is Silver!

So long and be well!!!
