Hackers Are The 2012 B Season Champs!!

hey ho everyone and welcome to what should have been the last post of the 2012 B season but has turned out to be the first post of 2013! I am Billy "The Slacker" Concarney and since team Canada is getting handed their rumps on a platter...thought I would take the time to do what should have been done a couple of weeks ago.

So after all the dust settled and the smoked cleared...it came down to two teams. The Hackers who sat atop their division the whole season had whooped their way to the finals. Their opponents were the rag tag team of misfits known as the Sabres led by the family connection of Rob and Keven Pittman.

This was a great game from start to finish. Both goalies played great. Dave cooper had a hat trick and a helper while I would say the Sabres best player was was Greg "Shreddies"Schrader who had three assists.

The game was all even until mid way through the third when the hapless Sheldon "Keep Tryin" O'Brien made a quick rush to the net...ok, who am I kidding, made a slow rush to the net and banged home a rebound to score what turned out to be the winning goal. The Sabres scored two more after that but just ran out of time.

This was a hard fought but cleans game and a credit to these two teams.

So that's the wrap for the 2012 B season.

2013 A season sign up is underway and we remind everyone to sign up and if you know anyone who would like to play to get them to as well.

The first pre-season game will be Monday January 7th. Hope you all had a wonderful holidays and wish you all the best for 2013!
