In the last cross over games of the week this season the Bulldogs picked up a big win beating the Fire by a score of 5-4.
The Fire mounted a come back in the third but couldn't finish it. The Bulldogs were led by Chad "I'm Bad" Banks who had a hat trick.
Chill Freeze The Sabres

This one was a hot contest with some rather stupid stuff going on. The league has investigated the actions of a few and decided that no further action will be taken...but big bro is watching guys so keep it tame.
The Chill owned this one from the get go. A rather surprising chemistry has formed between Keven "Saggy Hat" Pittamn and Kevin "Stinky King" Shute. Rumour has it that Shute is using his brother's stick and this has magic in it...
Hackers Chop The Lynx To Bits

So even though Adam "I'm Gellin'" Schellenberg was this weeks ESM Player of the Week, the real story was Chris "The Fish" MacKinnon. For the second time in his career Chris faced 83 shots in a single game. He managed to keep it to within 2 after the second but the Hackers stepped on the gas in the third and blew the Lynx out of the water.
Worth while to note that the most shots faced in a game in league history was 84 by Marty "the Party" Kane...who stopped way more than 68 ahem ahem ahem....:-)
Titans Overcome the Slayers

The Mighty Titans won this game convincingly...but not until they took control in the third. The Slayers have had goal tending issues in the third every game this year which kind of makes it hard to stay in it to win it. This week heath "The Beard" Matheson filled in for the absent Jason "Boom Boom" Boudreau who is out day to day with a lower body injury.
Now a message from the league.
"So this past week we had some rather over aggressive play by a couple of guys in one game. We want to take this time to reiterate that we don't want this stuff happening. We know that with that much testosterone in one place tempers might flare. But that being said we will deal with any goofy stuff quickly if things can't stay under control. We are all there to have fun and get some exercise. Let's keep that in mind before we get to the arena"
This weeks Eastside Mario's Player of the Week is Adam "I'm Gellin" Schellenberg. Congrats Adam!
