Ohhh it's late week 7 recap

Hey Ho everyone. It's late Sunday night and I am Billy Concarney and this is your late week update. sorry for the delay, but would you believe me if I said someone turned my clock back early and I haven't recovered?

I thought not.

So here is a brief rundown of the games this week.

Lynx vs Hackers

Lynx won this game 8-5. MacKinnon may have burnt himself out in the first game filling in for the missing Darren "The Tire Man" Smith.

Hackers were short benched. Second loss in a row for the Hacks...wouldn't want to be playing these guys this week!

Fire Vs Bulldogs

Schellenberg garnered 3 goals and 4 helpers along with Urquhart's 5 points to give the Fire an 11-6 win. Swaine faced 64 shots. Adam "I'm Gellin'" Schellenberg gets Eastside Mario's Player of the Week honours! Way to go Adam!

Chill vs Sabres

Last place Sabres come out and play a solid game backed by Chris "The Flukey Guy Who Lays Down All the Time" MacKinnon...who played a phenomenal game that allowed the Sabres the tie.

4-4 in this one

Titans vs Slayers

This one literally came down to the wire.

the Slayers scored with about 5 seconds left off of one of many goofy bounces that did not go the Titans way. A possible missed goal, a quick whistle and some tense score keeping were the highlights in this one.

Slayers win this one 8-7

That's it guys.

Make sure you support Eastside Mario's in Bayers Lake. they have sponsored our player of the game awards this season, once again and we want to make sure they know it is appreciated.

Be well folks and see you all Monday night!
