Between the crosses row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks still bravely singing fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below
We are the dead, short days ago
we lived, felt dawn, saw sun set glow
loved and were loved; and now we lie
In Flanders Fields!
Take up our quarrel with the foe
To you, from failing hands, we throw
The torch: be yours to hold it high
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep though poppies grow
in Flanders Fields
Lest We Forget...all those who have fought in years gone by so that we may live in a free society. Those who serve now, to protect our rights, what ever they may be, and whether or not they agree with those beliefs. Those who sacrifice everyday to keep our streets and families safe. Those who we do not know who are willing to lay down their lives for those they do not know.
Always let us be thankful for the men and women who serve...
Thank you to them all!
