Halifax Floor Hockey LeagueThis is Billy Concarney here with a major update affecting game scheduled for Dec 19/22
The league in consultation with some participants and with this coming night experiencing some duress, has decided to postpone this Monday nights games slated for Dec19/22 and reschedule them for January 16/23.
This just means we will be finishing up one week later than planned.
There were issues mounting with officiating as well as concerns over attendance where it was getting close to the holidays.
We know that this might bum a few of you out, and we are apologetic for that. But we also know that a great many will breathe a sigh of relief because it will take some pressure off.
Either way, we hope that you will understand and we look forward to getting week 9 on January 9th,
We also want to remind everyone that as in past years, the HFHL has every intention to play a second Winter/Spring season starting in mid February. Keep you eyes open for a sign up email which will be sent out before week 9.
So that’s what’s going on at this point. Billy and the gang would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and safe and Happy New Year!
This is Billy Concarney saying bye for now and remember…Christmas is Christmas for a reason! Hope yours is the best it can be!
Stay safe and be well folks!
