I do need to address something and would appreciate everyone taking note.
We have a great thing going here at the HFHL. We feel our league is competitive and we have a great group of guys and gals that allow us all to go out and have some fun with out fear of foolishness and unnecessary injury.
Part of the benefits we enjoy as a league is the use of the facility at CFB Stadacona. The staff there have been accommodating and friendly and we are fortunate to be able to have use of the gym there.
Although we pay for the use, we are still guests on a Canadian Military Base, and as such are expected to conduct ourselves as guests should. That means respecting the facility itself, but most of all the staff that man all aspects of the base. Because it is a government facility of a somewhat sensitive nature, we need to respect the fact that we may not be afforded the same luxuries we may have come to expect at a civilian gymnasium, and as such, need to exercise common sense when it comes to actions and words used in that environment. I trust we are all able to conduct ourselves in a manner that not only reflects positively on our own selves, but on the league in its entirety.
Just a friendly reminder that it is not a right to play in the league or use CFB Stad, it is a privilege. Let's all keep that in mind and treat it as such.
Thanks for tuning in and look forward to seeing you all on the court soon!
Be well folks!
