Halifax Floor Hockey LeagueI apologize for not having things updated yet.
I had to go on a work trip early Tuesday AM and came home Wednesday evening with Covid.
Been in quarantine at my house since and should be able to get at it soon.
A heads up that we will be sending out the registration for this coming season which we plan on starting January 27th.
Our preseason run for those interested will be after the championship game on the 20th with the draft being held at the same time. Please, please register as soon as you can so we know where we are player wise.
Last thing…
Last week I saw and heard some things being done and mostly said that have no place in this league that are absolutely not acceptable. I understand that people’s emotions can get ramped up playing sports, but the HFHL has a pretty rigid stance regarding any threatening or challenging rhetoric both during and after the game. When the game is over, it’s over. Shake hands and move along.
We all have a life to live away from this, with business and family commitments alike. The league should be a break from the tensions of real life. So let’s keep our emotions and words in check and have some fun.
Will also take this time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. I hope you get to spend some wonderful times with those who matter most to you. And if you know anyone who needs it, it’s the season to be there for them as well.
In this day and age I might take some heat for saying this…but so be it…
God Bless you all and your loved ones during this Holiday Season
This is Billy Concarney saying so long and stay safe and well!
