MacDonald Shines in Goaltending Debut

Initially, Lite-Sabre rookie Ryan MacDonald was only meant to be a one-game replacement for starting goaltender Richard MacMillan. However, after MacDonald's stellar debut Thursday night, in which he allowed only 7 goals on 36 shots in the Lite-Sabres' 10-7 victory, he may have earned himself the starting position. MacMillan, who is also the team's GM, played solid defense for most of the game after arriving late. "It looks like we've found our new goalie", remarked MacMillan after the game.
