Halifax Floor Hockey League
This is Billy Concarney back from a quick trip around the world with a weeeee short but sweet recap.
This weeks scores could have been taken from a Sunday afternoon recap of the NFL! Lots of offence this week.
Chill vs Fire
The Chill busted out with with a big game from the dynamic duo of Sean Fitz and Josh McKnight…oops I mean Alex Yeadon and Brett Dempsey. Arguably the two best sets of hands in the league on one line will mean trouble for any keeper.
The Chill lit up the Fire by a score of 11-5 and Alex Yeadon grabbed this weeks honours as HFHL Player of The Week with a 5 goal and 3 helpers performance. Way to go Alex
Hackers vs Lynx
Well…you know the Hackers are for real when Liam MacLeod scores twice in a season…I mean game.
The Hackers just steam rolled the Lynx led by Myles Raymond and Aidan Walsh as they buried 14 goals and only gave up 5 against the trying to figure things out Lynx.
Let’s see if they can keep this up!
Sabres vs Slayers
The Slayers are looking pretty incredible at this point and the Sabres are no slouch. This one was closer than it looks on paper and everyone better be careful of the Sabres…they could rain on some parades this year. But for this night, the Slayers kept things rolling along with a 9-6 win.
Well, better late than never and thanks for everyone’s patience.
This is Billy saying so long and remember…there are no left handed clubs for a reason…just sayin
